Now that we are in the back to school mode, you may be worrying about whether your preschooler/kindergartener is ready to read or not. Do not panic if you see other 4 or 5 year olds reading and you child does not recognize all his letters. Every child will develop his or her language skills at a different pace. Pushing your children when they is not ready may do more harm than good. Developing your children’s love for learning will provide far greater benefits in their school performance than just having an early reader. Read to them, provide books and other educational games and activities for them, but keep it fun. You want their educational experience to begin positively.
